    I’ve spent 35 years studying human presence, trust and the art of surrender. \u00a0Before I became a mother to four and grandmother, I studied acting at Studio 58 in Vancouver and under Uta Hagen in New York. I learned how human beings hold tension, how breath creates power and \u00a0how presence overrides fear. Then I met my ex-husband skydiving. \u00a0We ran a parachute centre where I taught students how to manage absolute terror, trust their equipment and surrender to the freefall. \u00a0When I gave birth to my first son (above with his son) I realized something profound. \u00a0Birth is the ultimate freefall.<\/p>\n
